Early Reviews Hail Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar as “Intense and Powerfully Engaging”

05 December, 2025 : Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, hits theatres on December 5, and early reviews suggest the actor is back in top form. First reactions online describe the movie as a high-adrenaline patriotic action drama that grips viewers from the very first frame.

Reviewers praise Ranveer for delivering one of his most intense performances, portraying a fierce yet emotionally layered character. The action sequences — particularly the combat and rescue scenes — have been highlighted as realistic, grounded, and brilliantly choreographed. Despite its lengthy runtime, the film reportedly maintains a tight pace and ends with a goosebumps-worthy climax.

Technically, Dhurandhar impresses with sharp cinematography and bold, stylish presentation. Set against the backdrop of the IC-814 hijack and 2001 Parliament attack, the film blends patriotic drama with spy-thriller energy, culminating in Ranveer’s impactful line:
“Ye naya Bharat hai — ye ghar mein ghusega bhi aur maarega bhi.”
Also A standout dialogue — “Ghayal hoon isliye ghatak hoon.”
— has already begun trending, evoking nostalgia for the ’90s era of raw, impactful one-liners.

This is what I call peak indian cinema

Dhurandhar kept me hooked from start to finish; sharp writing, wonderfully shot, great pacing, amazing background music and characters that actually stay with you. It’s been a while since a film felt this well-balanced.

Kudos to the director, first Baramulla and now this
