West Indian powerhouse reaches a major milestone in T20 cricket
November 6, 2025: Andre Russell has achieved one of the biggest milestones of his T20 career, becoming one of the few players in the world to complete 500 wickets in the format. The landmark came during the DP World ILT20 match between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Desert Vipers, where Russell claimed his 500th wicket.
To mark this special moment, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders presented Russell with a customised ‘500’ jersey, celebrating his incredible contribution to the team and to T20 cricket.
